HOW TO VIDEOS

Installing an RGBWW Awning Light Kit using the existing OEM Internal Switch

In this video we walk you through the installation of a RGBWW Multi-Color Awning Light kit on a new 2020 travel trailer. In this particular installation the customer wanted to use their existing OEM internal awning light switch to light just the Warm White + Bright White diodes in the RGBWW led strip. Doing so gives them the ability to have a bright white light under their awning using their existing switch (on/off). Then, we wired the RED, GREEN and BLUE diodes in the RGBWW led strip to a Boogey Lights RF + Bluetooth RGB LED controller. This gives them the abilty to change colors, flash, strobe and all the other features using either the included RF wireless remote or their Bluetooth enabled smartphone.

Installing an RGB Under-Glow Light Kit on a Travel Trailer

In this video we walk you through the installation of an RGB Multi-Color Under-Glow LED Light kit on a new 2020 travel trailer. In this particular installation we also installed an awning light for the customer as well.

In this video we walk you through the installation of an RGB LED Awning Light and RGB controller on a SLIDE OUT.

Creating Mounting Surfaces

In this video we discuss the different options for creating mounting surfaces for your Boogey Lights. For all of our in-house installations, we either use aluminum flat-stock, angled aluminum or both. By creating a flat smooth mounting surface for your lights, you'll ensure they last for years. BTW - you can usually purchase this aluminum flat-stock (or angle) locally. We also offer it for sale on our website.

Tail-Turn-Brake Light Integration

What's involved in connecting BOOGEY LIGHTS LEDs to your truck's tail-turn-brake light system.

VOLVO VNL 780 Installation

In this video we show you a recent installation on a 2015 VNL 780. We installed our UNDER-CAB, GRILL and AIR VENT light kits along with our DUAL ZONE Heavy Duty LED Controller. We prepped the controller for hooking up to our UNDER-GLOW and REAR FAIRING ACCENT LIGHT KIT which we'll have in another video.

ROCK GUARD Light Kit with Tail, Turn and Brake Light Integration

In this video we discuss how to install the Boogey Lights ROCK GUARD Light Kit. We have two ways of mounting this kit: either on top of the rock guard itself or on top of the chrome lettering. We prefer on top of the chrome lettering as it provides the best lighting effect.

Golf Cart LED Installation

In this video we discuss how to install Boogey Lights on a Club Car 4 Seater Golf Cart. Follow along as we go over placement of the LED strip lights, how-to run your wires and where to mount the controller module.

Installing Boogey Lights on Multiple Slide-Outs

In this video we show you a recent installation we did where we installed Boogey Lights on top and under-neath the passenger side slide-outs and connected them to the same controller. It's a detailed installation that takes time but we hink the end result is worth it.

Installing an Under-Glow LED Light Kit?

In this video we share a few of our favorite tips and tricks to make sure your under-glow installation is the best it can be. We include some commentary on using Buytl Tape to secure the end of each LED strip, using right angle aluminum bars to create a mounting surface for a 7.5" led strip across the front of your RV and how to use 3M VHB tape (with 3M adhesion primer) to secure power leads down the full length of your RV without drilling into the bottom.

AWNING LIGHT that's longer than 16 Feet and your want full coverage?

We get a lot of questions about how to install an awning light if the length is longer than 16 feet. While most customers will simply center the standard 16' long LED strip, there are some who want complete coverage for the entire awning length. In this video we show you how we installed a 16' LED strip along with a 3' LED strip to cover the full 19' length of this awning. We also show you how we tied in the existing OEM on/off wall switch such that when the wall switch is turned on, the RGB led strips display white just like the original single color awning light did. And when the wall switch is off, you can use the LED controller and wireless remote (or bluetooth APP) to change colors.
