Boogey Lights®  Smartphone APP for GEN2 LED Controllers

The newly released Boogey Lights® GEN2 Bluetooth Smartphone APP is for use exclusively with the Boogey Lights® family of GENERATION 2 (GEN2, G2) Bluetooth RGB and RGB and RGBx LED controllers released in June of 2023. Simply connect your smartphone running our APP to the Boogey Lights® GEN2 Bluetooth LED controller for a reliable, low energy connection to take charge of our hi-performance LED strips like never before. The Boogey Lights® Bluetooth controller and this APP are designed to power our multi-color and single-color line of LED strips for use on RVs, motorhomes, campers, trailers, semi-trucks, tow trucks, motorcycles, cars, truck, semi's, ATVs, boats, golf carts and more.

What's Needed? The Boogey Lights® Bluetooth APP is FREE to download for either the Android or iOS smartphone operating system platforms. You just need to provide the Bluetooth equipped smart phone and use it with one of our GEN2 Bluetooth enabled LED controllers.

NOTE: We also make a GEN1 LED Controller. That controller requires this GEN1 Bluetooth APP. The GEN2 APP will not operate a GEN1 LED Controller and vise versa. They each have their own APPs.

Features

  • Our GEN2 LED Controller when used with this GEN2 APP will operate Boogey Lights RGB, RGBA, RGBW and RGBWW LED strips. Can also be configured to work with Boogey Lights Single Color LED srips.
  • TWO Operating Modes: RGB mode and X mode providing up to 5 channels of light control. The 3 channel RGB mode controls the RGB LEDs. The 'X' mode controls one or two X diodes.
  • RGB Control: Easy to use sliders or color square allow you to control over 16 million color combinations by adjusting the level of Red, Green and Blue in your LEDs
  • X Control: Easy to use sliders to control one or two 'x' diodes for use with Boogey Lights RGBA, RGBW and RGBWW LED strips.
  • Fader mode allows you to dim and brighten your LEDs. RGB and RGBxx.
  • ON/OFF Functionality allows you to turn your Boogey Lights® on and off from a distance. On/Off control is available for RGB diodes and the X diodes separately.
  • Speed control allows you to speed up or slow down the lighting effects.
  • Seven different function buttons provide pre-set lighting effects for RGB mode. Three different function buttons for X mode.
  • Auto-connect functionality such that when you load the APP it will automatically connect to the LED controller you have set it to connect to (assumes of course you're in range).
  • Assign Nicknames for us to 5 Controllers
  • Assign a Password to stop someone else from connecting to your lighting system.
  • Progammable Color Rotation Feature allows you to program the controller to display two or three colors of your choice and then rotate those colors in sequence.
  • Countdown Timer. Gives you the ability to turn off your Boogey Lights in X hours and Y minutes.
  • On/Off Timer. Gives you the ability to turn your lights on and off at pre-determined times every 24 hour cycle.
  • Support for the Boogey Lights® GEN2 Dual Zone Heavy Duty Bluetooth Controller capable of controlling two independent lighting zones.

Functions

  • F1 = single color steady, optional dim and multi-color selection
  • F2 = single color strobe, optional dim, speed and multi-color selection
  • F3 = 7-color strobe, optional dim and speed
  • F4 = 7-color switch, optional dim and speed
  • F5 = single color breathe, optional speed and multi-color selection
  • F6 = 7-color breathe, optional speed
  • F7 = multi-color blend, optional speed

IMPORTANT! This APP will only work with the GEN2 Boogey Lights® Bluetooth LED controller. If you have a GEN1 LED Controller, details on that APP can be found here.

NOTE: All Boogey Lights® controllers and LED components are POSITIVE switched devices. They will not work with components that are negatively switched.
